I just saw it on the CBS pre show. Boomer Esiason picked Steelers and Giants :tt02:

I can see that...........sure. We'll have to play the two toughest games of our season to get there, but i think it can happen.

Hopefully we can make their words prophetic.

That was my prediction...

.....but then again...I also predicted that the Colts and Falcons would win yesterday.

how can anyone doubt cowher isnt loving his job on the cbs set. he won the picks segment championship, and that smile on his face said it all when they presented him with that 8 foot tall trophy. :sofunny:

If its Caroina and the Steelers that will be a beautiful football game.

Steelers - Panthers eh? Could be a very good game.

I have one panther's fan in my office...I sure would love to come in holding 6 fingers up at him after the superbowl!

Getting ahead of themselves we still need to win a few games first.
Panthers rely on their run game and i would easily pick the Steelers D to come up big and Stop the run as usual and for them to pass to a below average receiving core.

Let's beat SD next week first.

Then we face the Titans or the Rats.

Not that I don't believe we can do it, but they don't seem like gimme games to me. :hunch:

Until they get a new Oline and OC I'm going to say Titans and Panthers.

He looked AWFULLY nervous when Shannon was flailing those giant arms around his trophy.

Cowher REALLY wants that thing for his study.

My roommate is a panthers fan and I go to school in South Carolina. I would love every minute of that Super Bowl.

I'd rather they pick someone else. Don't want them on the band wagon. They're a bunch of punks anyway!

Those are 2 Pittsburgh fanboys.

I like the Panthers over the Giants in the NFC. The Giants just don't seem to have that offensive explosion anymore. Eli doesn't have a go to receiver anymore. DeAngelo is playing at a whole different level right now.

Id rather people talk about Eli or something.

I just want to get through this SD game win and with relative good health

So much for flying under the radar everyone knows we are for real.

the eagles are on a role.. and i could see them beating the g-men.. and with the suprising of the running game makes ari a threat as well

I think the CBS pregame show is the best in the business. IMO Cowher and Marino are the 2 best on that show. Now the team just needs to make their prediction come true.

Exactly.

While it is heartwarming *cough* *choke* to hear Boom Boom pick the Steelers to go to XLIII, we haven't won anything yet and we need to focus all of our attention on the Bolts who aren't going to come in here, lay down and die. They are going to give it all they've got. The winner of this game goes to the AFCC and this game means just as much to them as it does to us.

I think the Steelers will be ready for 'em and Papa Lebeau and his warriors are gonna bring it and bring it hard. :tt03:
