seems like typical politics here and nothing under the table. while it seems bill will come out of this clean, he is pulling out, nevertheless. :dang:

I know we had some nice wars during the presidental election, but I feel it is best that Richardson is not tied to this admin. I think Richardson was better then the whole lot of them and that they will only bring him down. Just my two.

This was magnanimous of Richardson. He's right that this would have dragged the confirmation process out indefinitely. If Obama wants him at a later date, he can shift whomever he moves into Commerce into another position when the time is right.

What a travesty. Richardson would have brought some brains, brass and class to this administration.
