Its true! I've seen Mitch punt a lot worse than that!

I will say, he's gotten better though.

Yeah, Mitch is good enough to keep the field position in our favor, especially with our defense making it so hard for teams to gain a significant amount of yardage most of the time.

Ben did a great job on that punt I didn't see it coming until he stepped back to punt it will be nice to get our punter back next year where we can pin them deep.

What was Sepulveda's injury again?

Torn ACL in his right knee.

I love the play with Ben punting, but all in all, I think Mitch did a really nice job yesterday.

Thanks! I had forgotten. Wondered why he was out so long.

I thought the Big Ben punt was awesome, too!

Ben is willing to do anything. That's one of the things that makes him a special player.

at least we know that if we really are deseparate and need a punter we have one..lol... not a bad punt for a qb..lol

I thought Mitch did a great job punting the ball yesterday. He even did a good acting job on the fake punt.

It will be great to get Sepulveda back next season. Now that Berger is healthy he is doing a very good job. Hopefully we won't see Berger on the field much Sunday :chuckle: But even if he has to punt the ball on Sunday he will be ready.

I saw that fake coming.... but I thought it would've been better for Mitch to throw then they would say "The QB has punted a ball inside the 10 and the punter has thrown a TD pass" :)

Only the Steelers would have their punter AND long snapper tear ACLs. Has anyone ever heard this in their life? Haha

If Frazier makes the block he was suppose to, Clark would have gotten 1 yard easy. Frazier went and blocked a guy who was already blocked and took himself out of the play by going outside anyways. It was an execution mistake, not a call mistake. It would have worked had everyone did their job.

Hey i was just suprise what i saw, i mean its not everyday a qb punts, i mean realli when was the last time a qb punt? I just got to wonder what if he missed up on the punt if he would beat himself in the head with his helmet just like Owen Schmitt lol!

Ben dropping back into punt formation as he did creates an interesting opportunity for a fake punt as the defense adjusts to the punt Ben could have the option to pass to a wide open receiver.

Sure better then the fake punt performance on Sunday.

Im still confused why he punted with his left foot. Maybe he didnt wanna punt at full strength so he could actually pin the chargers at their 10 :flap:

Ben stated that he is in fact left footed.

The fake punt was a great call... The Chargers didn't read it at all, but sadly they called a punt block :banging:
