Welcome, Cardinal fans, I'd like you to meet our resident Host, Tony Hipchest (or the cheesemeister by some - but I'd advise against calling him that until you really get to know him and since you'll only be here for two weeks, maybe three, that's not enough time).

Anyway, I digress welcome to the boards. I'll warn you now this place can't stand :troll:s so if you're here to talk good football maybe throw down some good smack, then welcome. If not, I'm the :troll:inator :cylon: and will be the one in front of Tony escorting your :troll: arse out the door.

Welcome! :whatnow:

I just want the Dudes job that involves taking photos of dead birds on Highways? That doesn't seem too strenuous. Plus you'd make a fortune on royalties!

It just seems kind of tough for me to talk smack to the Cardinals fans, it's kind of like picking on someone who has no weapons to fight back with, kind of like a gun to a pen-knife or something & they already to have that sweet little logo, I know they recently tried to make it look a little mean but really, how do you make a Cardinal look mean or even business-like for that matter but hey, they are pretty birds, one of my favorites, actually, do they get Cardinals in Arizona? I've seen hummingbirds there but never really noticed Cardinals...Kind of like the fans...Until now, that is....Maybe they need to make another effort to mean up that logo, I mean, really, who can come over here & talk smack running a logo like that..

I'm sure just like the Rays, there were a few supporters before the playoffs. It's just that you couldn't see nor hear them because the visiting teams sold out more tickets.

But it is quite true. Never hear them because they have never had anything to "crow about" since 1947! Ummm...Cards "fans": BTW, that was 3 cities ago...the Chicago Cards.

Cardinal fans are just the people that jumped off of the Cowboys bandwagon after Philly blew them out.

I mean come on, you can't claim to have a true fanbase if you need two 24-hour extenstions to sell out a home playoff game.

The Cardinals kinda remind me of the '03 Panthers, and to some extent, the '05 Panthers. Those teams struggled with inconsistency during the regular season, but turned it on at the perfect time...only to fall short at the end.

To the Cards credit-Whisenhunt started running a more balanced offense just prior to the playoffs starting. Why he didn't do that most of the year, I don't know. I remember our game on 10/19 when we lost in OT...IF the Cards had committed to the run game in it, it would have been an easy double digit win(especially with Terrence Newman not playing). And for that matter too, if the Cards had committed to the run game in it, no OT would have happened, and Romo/McBriar wouldn't have gotten hurt.

Wow-you talk about a dominos effect!
