He will have a gadget play
Could be the same play we ran vs the Seahawks? Randel EL to Ward pass
Imagine if he does it and we are not prepared for it and they score a TD

Their gadget play vs Philly was the play we ran vs the Ben-gals that year in the playoffs

I think if he tries that against our defense, we'll drag their dicks through the dirt. Up the field and back.

LeBeau knows that something is coming, and I'm sure he'll have our D on high alert around midfield.

Yeah, I can see the gadget play losing 20 yards, or, better yet, failing completely and ending up as 6 for us.

I have to say, I do miss those gadget plays. I'm a sucker I guess. We seemed a bit predictable last night and it would probably serve us well to mix it up a little - but as for Ken and Russ getting that sh** past Dick and our boys - no chance.

has our d given up a trick play all season? I can't remember one

The Steelers D falling for it is going to rely heavily on Clark, Townsend, McFadden, and whoever else is out there not to bite on it but instead maintain the man coverage that will be required because we'll probably be bringing the house, including Troy!

Our D will be prepared for the flea flicker, but it will just come down to a jump ball between Fitzgerald vs. Taylor + Polamalu/Clark.

Didn't the cards try that play already? Think it was fitz throwing a long pass

It may have been in preseason....

The thing about Trick plays is that Ken only runs them when we have a lead already, usually a TD lead too, not in close games.

So if we pound his offense into submission, and crush his running game, hold on to the ball and jam it down their throats and go up by 10 or 14 points then he tries one of those trick plays, we'll be looking for it and will catch it, and most likely either create a major loss of yardage or a D turnover for 6 points.

That's what I see.

Wiz used our "super bowl" play in yesterday's game Warner to whoever threw it to Fitzgerald ----- TD.

Last night the ravens got around 20 yards on a double reverse, if you count that as a trick play

NO that play was the one we used against the bengals, the superbowl play was a WR pass.

The pats also used that play against us last year and it worked.
