Well yeah, it's not like he should be.

Sad state of affairs, when it actually makes us celebrate that someone doesn't have their head up their ass.

Why would he be fined? It was a clean hit.

Is Clark becoming one of the most "Hard Hitting" safeties in the league?

Didn't he also knock out Wes Welker and somebody from Jacksonville this year? Now if he could only KO Fitzgerald in the SuperBowl.:tt03:

hate to say i told ya so guys

but i told ya so

alot of rival fans (i'm a rival fan, but i'm not with those retards) got their vagges in a bunch over that perfectly awesome hit

they're all bent out of shape about it because they're jealous their own team doesn't have a defense that good

my team doesn't have a D as good as pitt's , but damn, you gotta recognize great hits when you see em!

C'mon Mach, it's Goodell we're talking about here.

Well that is good news for Clark. But it really is becoming sad that you have to sit and wait to see if Goodell is going to fine you for a great and legal football hit.

I thought it was a real dirty hit ..... At first.

Am no longer convinced it was after seeing many replays

Clark needs a couple more years and everybody will forget that Lewis guy in Purple.

Absolutely. And if he had been fined Goodell would have lost credibility.

I am glad that Clark was not fined for that awesome hit even though if memory serves me right he was fined for the legal hit on Wes Welker I guess the nfl felt bad for fining him after that hit and decided to let this legal hit go.

He wasn't fined for Welker. He was fined $7500 for the hit on Matt Jones, and $5000 for his tribute to Sean Taylor (putting #21 on his eye black).

This morning Mike Reiss of the Boston Globe reported this from an NFL spokesman:

[McGahee] had completed the catch and was a runner. Helmet-to-helmet contact is legal in that situation as it is for any ball carrier (running back, quarterback, or receiver). Helmet-to-helmet contact is prohibited against defenseless players (defined as a receiver in the process of making a catch or a quarterback in the act of passing).

I know there are still some butthurt fans out there that he wasn't fined.
