I am so sick of all the negativity in the “Locker Room” that I want to bring something positive here – for crying out loud – WE ARE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL and WE ARE GOING TO WIN!!!!!!!!

So, please tell us why you are excited about the Super Bowl…tell us what you are going to do to celebrate…tell us what special tradition you have when our SUPER BOWL team plays…tell us who you will spend the day with, or simply tell us about your favorite player – PLEASE!

We are family in the name of STEELERS!!!!

Do tell!

Have a grand road to the SB. I am happy just to be alive and have a great husband and precious daughter – how about you?

I have a fantastic wife I love and adore, and beautiful children to boot.

oh, and I'm trying to have my "driving from Arkansas to Pittsburgh for the Super Bowl" story told in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette

I am very excited! I guess mostly for my soon to be 11 yr old! He has really gotten into football the past few years and is a huge steeler fan! The sparkle in his eyes when we make a big play or even a bad play lol!!! then his yuoungest sister and older brother are huge steeler fans it is mayhem when we score or win! It is a sight to behold! my wifey & oldest daughter doesnt think so (they are cowpatty fans:doh:, but i am working on them). But in my eyes it is one of the greatest things to see them twirl there TT and do a lil vicotry dance!! My favorite player would have to be james farrior with a close 2nd being lamarr woodley! my daughters favorite player is troy polamalu (because of his everywhere and his convictions to christ). my oldest son id say it would be willie (because he plays FB ) and my youngest id say Hines.:drink:
HERE WE GO STEELERS HERE WE GO!!!!!!!! :drink::tt03::tt03::tt03::tt03::tt03:

I kinda like that. Sort of like the Ramones.

I shall now be known as Patrick Steeler. Let there be no other. :drink:

Like this??????:tt02::drink:What I like about you
You hold me tight
Tell me I'm the only one
Wanna come over tonight?

Warm whispering in my ear
Tell me all the things that I want to hear
'Cause it's true
That's what I like about you

What I like about you
You really know how to dance
When you go up down, jump around
Talk about about true romance

Warm whispering in my ear
Tell me all the things that I want to hear
'Cause it's true
That's what I like about you
That's what I like about you
That's what I like about you

What I like about you
You keep me warm at night
Never wanna let you go
You know you make me feel alright

Warm whispering in my ear
Tell me all the things that I want to hear
'Cause it's true
That's what I like about you
That's what I like about you
That's what I like about you
That's what I like about you

I'm hoping 2 bring my older brother, few cousins (I think I have the right since I got em the Steelers jerseys each :chuckle:), & couple friends over 2 have them watch SB. The thing is, when the actual game is played in the states it will be early morning here, & NFL wouldn't broadcast it LIVE. So I'm gonna wait until I get off work without trying to know the score & everything else (God, it will SO HARD), & then go home & watch them game with em. :tt02:

Well, there was the thread about 2 girls 1 cup. I don't know if that counts.

i am SO excited for this Super Bowl and i know for a fact we are going to win. BUT...i never feel quite right about it until i know that the score on that scorebaord is next to final and then i get amped. because as much faith and as much love as i have for the Pittsburgh Steelers i am always dreading the collapse or breakdown of that team in the latter part of the game. granted, there were some amazing come from behind wins this season to nix that feeling, but it never goes away. especially during the big dance. =)

I am totally floored that the Steelers are going to the Super Bowl again, & so soon since the last one! :tt03: Wow! What a wonderful time to be a Steelers fan & God knows sometimes it aint easy!
Even down here in Florida I'm hoping to get some new opportunities to find some Steelers stuff locally & will hit some places this weekend to see what I can find!
On a personal note we are in the market for buying a house. It's taking forever & we must have seen every old beast in the area but hope is still alive. We will find something that's worth our effort, I refuse to give up, the prices now are too good to pass up.

Positivity is an excellent thing. My 2008 was the roughest year I've ever had to endure, so I'm happy to say that 2009 is shaping up to be a much better year thus far.

I'm healthy, I have family, friends and an amazing boyfriend that loves me... my steelers are going to the super bowl... life is good!!!

The fact that I'm still working and not yet directly effected by the looming ecomony for now is also a great thing...

YAY for happy thoughts! Thanks for this thread Princess!!!
