What is it with this insane fascination with New England? As of right now, Derek Anderson II is their starting QB for '09.

I thought MAYBE this was from September of '08, but that would be for SB 43.

This is insanity. Get OFF the Pats jocks! It's OVER in New England!!!!

So the Pats with Cassel or the Pats with Brady? I dont think its warranted on any front. I rather we be sitting at 5 or 6, dont need to be in the top 3 either.

I listened to Cassel last night on the nfl network, he he was quite emphatic about being a starter. But I htink he is a system guy and thats it.
Pats even have a running game left? Team is aging quickly.

Let 'em be at the top. Let them be the media darlings.

As far as Brady or Cassel, I don't think they care. Many were ready to hand over this year's SB trophy to the Pats - if not for them missing the playoffs. (small hitch). While we're winning Championships, the media can look for their soap opera stories at other teams.

To me the surprise is less the 11-5 Patriots being 6-1 - it's the 9-7 Cowboys at 9-1. That's sucker bet money they'll be pulling in.
