Not to mention the weather in Florida is completely unpredictable - it's a lot like Alabama... if you don't like our weather... wait 10 minutes... (it always changes!)

Trust me when I say that in Tampa if the weather dude says 60% of rain a week out from the game, that's another way of saying there is a 0% chance that it will end up raining on gameday! Steelers, bring your good weather/good field spikes boys!

I'd like to see what willie thinks of the weather for this game. I bet he's excited

If everything goes well willie can have a huge game running out the clock

In the summertime due to heat & humidity yes; thunderstorms and heavy rain every late afternoon. Summertime is Florida's rainy season; wintertime is Florida's dry season. In other words, I doubt it will rain (even though it did in Miami for the Colts - Bears SB.) Last few days it's been low 70's in the day and 40's at night down there.

Plus, weathermen have trouble predicting tomorrow's weather, never mind weather more than a week away.

I would love to see sunny and 70 deg. myself. That is the way the super bowl is supposed to be. I just did not like seeing the Colts and Bears in the rain a few years back, just didnt seem right to me.

In February, the weather, well, has a mind of it's own. You can usually count on some rain but you never know, it could be dry too.

However, lately we've had a cold spell (yes the other morning it was below 30 degrees when I woke up). Usually at night it dips down into the 40's but according to the local weathermen, it's suppose to start warming up this week. I don't trust them more than a week out.

I predict that once the sun goes down on the New Sombraro, you'll see the affects of the colder FL weather on the cardinals.

yeah but look at the weather temperature closer to kickoff. I can promise you, 70 won't be it. It will drop into the 50's at the highest this time of year and possibly lower. Granted for the northerners, that's a heat wave.

Based upon the nickname you used for Willie, you must have been a part of another Steelers board when that name was being used quite a bit.

It may be 73 degrees during at 1pm but the game will be played after sundown. Ask anybody who lives there or has visited there this time of year, it won't be close to 73 during the game. If it rains look for a blowout; see what happened when the Cardinals played New England in crappy weather.

Does that mean you have to change your Avatar?

By the way, have you decided whether to watch the game on your new 40" lcd or that trusty old 13" Orion? :chuckle:

Have to still play the game NO MATTER HOW BAD THE WEATHER IS!!!

Give me some rain, and I'll gladly take it. No rain, oh well. Have to take what you have and make the most out of it.
