That looks like a Banana spider, & a fat one, too.
We get those down here in Florida also, but luckily for us, they seem like more of a rural spider. Thankfully I've never had to deal with one of those but have had to deal with big brown wolf spiders & they are fast. Lots of screaming going on during those battles!:laughing:
