Annual Children?s Hospital Collection To Be Held At Steelers-Lions Game
PITTSBURGH ? The Steelers will continue to celebrate the holiday season by holding their annual collection for the Children?s Hospital Free Care Fund prior to Sunday?s New Year?s Day game versus the Detroit Lions at Heinz Field.
Phi Theta Phi Fraternity Alumni will be stationed inside all stadium gates to collect donations from 11 a.m. until kickoff at 1 p.m.
The Free Care Fund supports the hospital?s century-old pledge that no child from the tri-state area be denied medical care because of an inability to pay.
This collection has been held annually at a Steelers game since 1968 and has raised more than $500,000 for the hospital?s free care fund.
