Lions Prepare For Their Final Game of the Season
After a dramatic Christmas Eve win over the New Orleans Saints, the Lions will try to end their season on an uplifting note with a victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers on New Year's Day. Detroit could play a major role in Pittsburgh's postseason fate as the Steelers may need a win over the Lions to make it into the playoffs.

don't matter how great they think they beat the Aints. They'll get WHOOPED by the Steelers this weekend.

Don't worry, they could have beaten the colts last week and they would still think their team sucks.

Lions Suck PERIOD! They have no one to help em. They should fire everyone clean the house rid all the players who will be free agents and such and start from scratch. And Then they'd probably still suck.

Lions fans would have never survived the last decade and a half as bengals fans.

From Detroit Free Press
? Final curtain?
It has taken four years, three head coaches and two demotions, but Joey Harrington finally has full control as the Lions' quarterback. And if there's an ounce of vengeance in the defrocked savior, he can take his newfound power and tell the Lions and his numerous critics in Detroit where to stick it.

The worst Lions' season in nearly 20 years mercifully will come to an end on New Year's Day in Pittsburgh. Perhaps revelers should hold off popping champagne corks until the clock strikes zero at Heinz Field about 16 hours into the new year, for that's when the true celebration will begin.

Harrington will start in what amounts to a playoff game for the Steelers. They might need a victory to clinch the final AFC playoff berth.

Harrington returned to the starting lineup Christmas Eve against New Orleans after his second benching of the season, but he did nothing to suggest that the Lions can trust him with their offense in 2006

You dont normally find much smack talk coming from teams like the Lions.. the only smack they can give is the one they should give to Millen and the Front office of that team.

My only problem is. Are we taking them to lightly? And are the Steelers taking them to lightly, or will we see the same intensity they we have the last three weeks?
I don`t think much has change in our season, besides the fact they we are healthier now. We were always capable of playing the way we are now, its just Ben missed a game hurt, then came back too soon, went in for surgery, missed some games, was rusty, now he is settling in for the long haul.

didnt the old bengals stadium have a bungee jumping station without a cord where, in true kevorkian style, bengalfans could pay $100 bucks and end their lives right there on gameday?
