OUCH!!!!

Hard to come by down here in FLORIDA, but we had a few cases in 05 and it worked out just fine, so I picked up two more for the game. $28.00 a case is pretty steap, but the hell with it it is the SUPER BOWL:tt::tt::tt::tt03::tt03::tt03:

I wouldn't pay 28 cents for a case of IC. :yuck: Tastes like vinegar. If I'm going to spend $28.00 on beer, it's going to be a foreign beer like Molson Canadian or Heineken.

I agree - thread is being moved to the Locker Room.

Pittsburgh beer during the Super Bowl for a transplanted native has everything to do with Steelers football (This weak)

Go Steelers:drink:

Go Steelers:drink:understandable.

it gave me the worst beer headache ever (and i dont get beer hangovers). i found it almost as bad as coors light. rolling rock is ok, but i absolutely love yeungling. its like a lighter beer with a darker taste.

I can't understand all this negative talk about the "Nectar of The Gods", Seriously I grew up on this stuff, it is an aquired taste, but I love the hops bite., and my uncles' brother was president of the brewery back in the day.

A chipped ham sandwich with Snyder potato chips and an IC to wash it down. Gennessee is good cheap beer too.

I can honestly say that I've never had IC... but to be fair it took me over 32 years of living in Maryland to come home for a visit and have some friends feed me Natty Boh, which I actually liked... (and it's super cheap... just hard to get anywhere near where I live... make that impossible... as would be IC) my boyfriend loved the boh, so everytime we go home.. it's Crab Chips, Natty Boh and local wines - we have lovely souveniers each time...

So one day when I make it to Pittsburgh, and or come across some IC... I'm definitely taste testing!!!

That's WAYY too much for a beer that tastes like your drinking sand, rips up your insides, and just isn't enjoyable.

Try Yuengling!!!!

Sorry man...many in my large, steel working family loved that and tried to indoctrinate me with it, but then I went to college and started trying other beers.

Yuengling = True nectar of the Gods.

All my friends from other parts of the country, when asked what kind of beer they want from a Pittsburgher coming out to visit, say Yuengling....

Well, you have to take the "It's a Pittsburgh product so it has to be good" equation out. If you look at it from a purely "quality beer" perspective, Iron City is quite bad, sorry. Most fans of the beer are from Pittsburgh and drink it because "Hell, my grandpappy drank it, my daddy drank it, and gosh darn it, I drink it too!"

To quote my boss (Illinois native living in Michigan and beer lover) who I took to the Texans game this year, after trying his first IC...."WTF! This tastes worse then Budweiser!"

Wouldn't you uncles' brother also be your uncle?

I love Killians myself!
