My wife, polamalu princess, fell on the ice today and severely injured her knee. Unfortunately, surgery will be required. Your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated.

That sucks. I wish her well.

I slipped on some ice a couple of years ago and my knee has never been the same.

Just seeing this, Tom - how AWFUL!!! What type of injury did she suffer - ACL/MCL? That ice has been treacherous in southwestern PA - I slipped on Wednesday night while getting out of my car but managed to catch myself.

Please let me know how you are doing, Renne, and I will most definitely say lots of prayers for you hon.:hug::hug:

Put the crutches on the other side of the room, Tom, just in case. I don't want to see a picture of one of them sticking out of the front of your TV set. :wink02:

Get better soon, PP.

Thanks again for your prayers and concern. My surgery will be next Friday (the 13th - UGH!!!) and I am doing well, but scared of going under the anesthesia and going under the knife. I do not do well with being put asleep with drugs (I wake up and fight not good.) My husband and daughter have been very accommodating and helpful and they need your prayers as well because when I am down, it is so very hard on them trying to do all they have to do and still take care of me. Thanks again! What a great place to be wonderful friends that really care and love the SUPER BOWL CHAMPS 6 times!!!!!:tt02:

Haven't been around for a bit, been down myself but get better real soon. Tell them you didn't get the ice cream when you had your tonsils out and you want it now. Let them worry about the sugar levels. Get better real soon, We are praying for you.
