How many times do you think you've seen the immaculate reception? Personally, I've seen it about 30 times.

The greatest play in NFL history which helped to launch the greatest dynasty in the NFL when it became relevant in the Super Bowl era.

Somebody should e-mail it to Madden and Davis.

A good friend of mine was just telling me the story of he & his wife being at the game that day. They were setting 3 rows from the top and just as the ball bounced off the helmet everyone stood up and the people in the top row started falling. Then all of a sudden they all were falling row by row like domino's and they never got to see the end of the play!!!

Only 30 times??? More like 300...or 3000....

I've got the McFarlane Legends Franco Harris figure hanging on the wall above my desk. Each time I look at it I imagine that glorious play.

I love it even more when someone mentions it to John Madden.

That play made the Steelers into the team they are today!! It sums up everything about the Steelers ethos and backs up Coach Tomlins quote last night "Steelers play 60 minute football"
