If Super Bowl XL was any indicator, not much. I am going to begin administering alcohol shortly to see if I can knock myself out.

I'm nervous as hell right now but I think it should mostly be the players struggling to sleep tonight- i think i'll fall asleep alright (knock on wood).

Well-I'm a Cowboys fan, and I haven't gotten any sleep since we crashed and burned a good one at the end, and the soap opera has only spilled over to start this offseason...LOL.

In all seriousness-I think it will be a really good game to watch tomorrow night, which is why I'm still up anticipating it anxiously.:tt03:

Update: Well, that didn't work. I've now drank the two 40-ozers I was saving for the game tomorrow, and no effect. (I had a 40 of Steel Reserve during each half of the Chargers game, then repeated it during the Ravens game, so it's kind of a good luck charm. I will have to get more tomorrow morning.)

Anyway, yeah. For some reason, even though NOTHING'S HAPPENING, I'm still all wound up and checking espn.com every 15 minutes even though I know there's virtually no chance of finding out anything that will effect the game, like Warner having a broken arm or something.

Did pretty well last night getting sleep I guess because I had such a hard day working on frozen water pipes. I got close to 7 hours of sleep I guess and I am or was up at 5:30 am and I am ready for game time about 12 hours from now...

I'm rested, anxious, and nervous!

It's a great day for STEELERS FOOTBALL!

I flew to Kenya three days after the Bolts game and only flew back this morning!!! I had to get the KLM co-pilot to find out that the Steelers were in the Superbowl!!! The game kicks off at 11:30pm here and I haven't slept for 24 (soon to be 48) hours! I therefore apologise for any drivel I post in the game day thread.

Want an omen - It'll be snowing here game time and we're facing the worst sonwstorm in years, and we all know that snow is Steelers weather.

Took me an hour or so to fall asleep but other than that, I slept pretty well, surprisingly. I was pretty tired last night having not gone to bed until 2:30 AM yesterday morning.

Well,

around six my wife and I brought some food to a friends house. . . they are moving into another home a few blocks away.

Turns out they were quite far behind. So we stayed and helped them move for 6 hours. BY the time I got home and in bed it was 1 AM. Up at 7 to come to church (slept in today). I slept really well, but I may have to take a nap before the game starts!!!

makes sense. Either way, after this game, the season is over. Also, with all teh build up, I think people are just ready for the game to be here.

Meh, sleep is overrated. :wink02: Seriously though, I got in a solid 8 hours after being up until nearly 2AM. But really, I just cannot get up for this game, not because I don't think the Steelers will win (I do), but because I'm not looking forward to the mayhem that will ensue if by some chance they DON'T win. This board isn't fun after losses during the regular season. Multiply that by 50 if they lose tonight.

Finally drifted off after 2am, was back up at 6am watching NFL Network. My stomach is turned upsaide down; a bundle of nerves.

What is everyone doing? I will be at the Imperial Palace Casino in Biloxi with a bunch of fellow Navy Chiefs...and the Wife, of course.
