Check this out....The closest thing I've seen to a REAL throwback Lambert jersey. I found on eBay. They have Ham and Bradshaw left. Just wanted to let the Ol' Schoolers know in case you're interested.

It was duplicated to Lambert's Rookie Year of 1974. He wore long sleeved jerseys for most of his career. The spacing of the letters on the back looks right on. Even the numbers are exact to the '74 style.

Mitchell & Ness makes a great Mean Joe jersey. Can usually find on eBay. Need to be careful as there are alot of cheap imitations.

durene was the material used back then. I had previously contacted various material handlers in the northeast to try and duplicate the old school jerseys. I was told there was basically no way to do it because the machinery used to weeve the yellow and white stripes into the jersey are obselete. One machine exists and I was told Mitchell & Ness own it. No one had the forsight to hold to this equipment. M & N won't customize any jerseys. Believe me, I offered them a pretty penny to do so and they wouldn't do it. The one chance I had at trying to make this, the co. told me that I had make an order of 50 or more jerseys and that meant talking thousands of dollars with no guarantee how they'd look.
