Don't know about anyone else, but I am very surprised that Shannon Sharpe did not get voted in the Hall of Fame. I also thought Cris Carter would get in, but Sharpe is very surprising to me.

I totally agree with you. I'm not a big Shannon fan but he has a good resume the best TE in history even though Gonzales past him this year. Plus he has 3 Rings. I was very surprised thought he would be in easily.

Sharpe is a mush mouth who may have talked his way out with the voters. Not to mention he could be more of a product of a favorable system. Dawson was more deserving than Sharpe.

I am really surprised Chris Carter didn't get in. Same with Shannon Sharpe, best receiving TE in the history of football when he retired.

Hopefully Dawson gets in soon, it's a shame that he gets snubbed every year.

Carter not getting in spells trouble for Hines Ward. There is a big crop of really solid WR's that will be eligible over the next decade or so, and it will make it hardder and harder for receivers to get the nod.

Dirt didn't get in for one reason and one reason only this year: Woodson was all-World and a shoe-in first ballot, and there's no way they elect two Steelers in one class. We already suffer form the "There's too many Steelers in the HOF" stigma as it is...
