Split it three ways - Harrison, Holmes and BIG BEN!

PS - I have just recovered from my heart attack, third one of the game!

"Go To" Santonio. He stepped up and had the best hands. From Belle Glade, FL, about an hour from me. Way to go. I will wave my Terrible Towel when I go there week after next.

Harrison lost his cool and his Caddy.

Send Mike a PM. He's going to be doing name changes when he gets a bunch of requests, as it takes a lot of steps to do it.

I gotta go with Ben. That was as clutch as you can get. Holmes was great as well but, Ben was clutch, biggest game of year, down by 3 and he leads this team down the field for a TD. Purely Awesome!

tough one indeed but I have to go with Ben.. I mean the guy was cold as ice all the way and he handled all the pressure unbelieveable great.
Holmes also deserves it though
and cant leave Harrison in the cold .... great game by these 3 guys especially

for the offense, its easy for me-holmes,even beofre the game winning catch and evn if they lost the game,i thought he had a great game, and took the place of ward nicly as the playmaker for the game on the team....as defense goes, its tough,as i think it wasnt thier best game....but i guess you got to go with harrison for that big td run if for nothing else.....:tt:

i'm not suggesting holmes isn't deserving of the award by any means...he made some spectacular catches........but for every big play holmes made, there was a guy on the other end, doing some amazing things to get that ball to holmes....if Ben was a lesser qb, holmes doesn't get the oppurtunities to make those catches, and the steelers don't win the SB...... the real hero, and mvp of this game is BIG BEN..... lets here your opinion :applaudit:

i love Big Ben and always will. But what Holmes did after that catch on that game winning drive is what earned him that Cadillac. my boy was so good! two feet down in the endzone!!!! Pittsburgh just won its sixth Super Bowl:tt03::tt03::tt03::tt03::tt03:

I have to agree, Holmes wanted the ball and wanted to win it for us, and he did. Great guy glad I was wearing his jersey during the game. And I told my family, look for Holmes to get the victory for us!

I have to split the game ball among 3 players. Ben came out and played relaxed like he said he would and made plays when he had to just like all season. Santonio Holmes continued his hot playoff streak and was clutch all game. James Harrison showed why he was the defensive player of the year.

Totally agree. That was so unnecessary on the part of Harrison . I would have split my vote as you stated.::applaudit:

I say it should be shared as a TEAM. They all made plays when they had too! As they have all year!

My game ball.... I have taken alot of time to consider this. I have to give it to Holmes.

If I could give a second one out it would be to Harrison.

Holmes though.... Just from the magnitude of the situation.... One of the best if not the best catch in Super Bowl history.

I've been thinking the exact same thing since they announced MVP after the game. I'm not griping 'cause Holmes got it, but in my mind, Ben may deserve it a l'il more. GAME WINNING DRIVE, BABY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:tt03: welcome to SIXBURGH

Obviously the top 3 are Ben,SH, and JH, but let me offer a couple of others.

1. Heath. He has some huge blocks and nearly all of his catches were important in terms of timing and yardage.

2. Carey Davis. He was a monster of special teams with tackling, blocking and hanging onto the football on his KR's. (We really need to address our KR game) Not to mention his breaking up that potential INT after Ben's ball was tipped near the end zone.
