...this is the Pittsburgh Steelers first Super Bowl victory without Myron Cope. it was brought to my attention yesterday and it instanly saddened me a bit. but with our victory at hand, i can't be too sad because i'm sure Myron is smiling down on us, as fans and as Yinzers and saying, "Double Yoi!" =)

here's to the man. :drink:

wish you were here. =)

Amen is right brother. =)

i do truly miss this man. he was an icon for the city and a great person to be around. i had a chance to meet him very briefly but he touched my life in a fun way. i'd like to think he's proud of us as fans...and i know he keeps saying, "buy up those Terrible Towels!" haha!

Yea man absolutely. That was the first thing that came to my mind when Ben took the knee and they showed the ocean of Terrible Towels in the stands. Myron is definitely loving this one! :tt03:

it's really different without hearing his voice and little quirky comments. but i'm sure he's all about it. haha!

I like his voice, I laugh when he talks!

You know Myron was twirling his terrible towel up in heaven last night. He is a Pittsburgh icon and it does suck he could be there for our six pack.

And only the second one we've won without The Chief.

I'm sure Art and Myron are both smiling right now. :tt02: :tt: :tt02:

He got the best seat in the house, waving that terrible towel and watching us kick some arse.

I like his voice, I laugh when he talks!

I do too..just a feel good kind of voice...makes ya smile, laugh and think of Steeler football. :tt03:

You know he's up there smiling ear to ear - Think of it this way we may not have been able to hear it but imagine the reception the game was given upstairs!

I did realize that, and after we won I raised my arms and pointed up to the sky for Myron. Big Ben and the gang brought a smile to his face up in heaven.
