Brees has Torn a Labrum
ESPN.com (http://www.kffl.com/link/9) reports San Diego Chargers (http://www.kffl.com/team/31/nfl) QB Drew Brees (http://www.kffl.com/player/1650/nfl) (shoulder), who is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent, suffered a torn labrum in his right shoulder. He is going to seek a second opinion Tuesday, Jan. 3, from Dr. James Andrews before having surgery. Brees said it will take at least four months to recover and rehabilitate from the surgery. Due to the injury, it could complicate what the Chargers (http://www.kffl.com/team/31/nfl) do with their decision at quarterback entering 2006.

I have the same injury (collegiate swimming) and find out whats goin on as far as treatment. Rotation of the arm is very painful. my shoulder pops in and out front to back, and i can feel the tendons/muscles popping in and my shoulder when i rotate it (ie swimming or throwing). I have alot more wrong than just my labrum though. Just like Brees it all stemmed from a dislocation. Very Painful

I seriously hope Drew recovers. He's definatly one of my favorite Chargers players. Everything from his skill, leadership, and love for the Chargers. I mean, c'mon, he completely sacraficed his body in a meaningless game. He cares about his team. That would suck so much if he didn't recover fully. On Chargers.com they said that if he didn't recover, it could make him a permanent second string QB. He's far too good to have that happen to him. Another reason to hate those ****ing Donkeys.

:injured: Get Better Drew :injured:

I hope Drew Brees heals quickly...I would hate to see the chargers be stuck with Philip Rivers, who I believe will turn out to be a bust.

I'm glad i'm not the only one who thinks that.

im glad the steelers "settled" for roethlisberger. even if rivers is good he is way behind the curve and i dont think sitting for 2 years has done much to help his development. probably the biggest wast of a 1st round pick of all time (unless you count the extra picks got from the giants)

Brees, in a matter-of-fact (not angry) mannor, in his latest press conference said that the Broncos defender was going directly for him. And if you watch closly, you'll see he's right. The defender wasn't even making an attempt at the ball, just rolled on Brees.

Way to suck at life, Broncos.
