My first painting a work in progress but pics

This is my first attempt EVER at painting. Never toke art classes after middle school. But now that I have alot of free time on my hands I want to give it a shot. Here is my work in progress. I still have alot to do to it but I think it is comming along.

Only suggestion I have is with the logo patch on Ben's jersey...looks like a mirror image of what it's supposed to me?

i love painting (especially with oils as it is the most forgiving).

of course its not museum quality or a multi-thousand dollar piece, but for your first attempt that is AWESOME! :thumbsup:

painting for me was a relaxing release and you are left with a reward you can appreciate for life and pass along.

kudos to you for picking it up. i constantly feel ashamed of neglecting what used to be a passion of mine.

my daughter is pretty artistic, so i wanna get back into it with her, and teach her.
