anyone look interesting? perhaps shaun cody? dewayne robertson, recently released by the broncos, might not be that bad at a DT, rather than a NT. that's if his price is right. he is a little on the short-side at 6' 1".

the steelers definitely need some youth along the D-line. they can't keep putting it off.

even tho tank had his issues... i wouldn't mind if the steelers went after him,,, his was the back up nt in dallas and did make plays...

still relatively young.. and he shouldn't be asking for too much money

I'd say that 90% of that list is rubbish for the 3-4. What few are left would almost all have to move to the DE spot (or bulk up a bit more to play the NT.)

I think Cody could be a good De in a 3-4. He has the size and lets be honest he could use the change of scenery. When was the last guy to succeed in Detroit?

Agreed. Other than Haynesworth (Steelers can't afford him) and possibly Cody, I wouldn't sniff around any of the others.

I know. Although higher free agents costs more than the Rooneys want to spend but talent wise one would be wise to go after the best players rather than no-names along for the ride. What a crappy year for 3-4 defensive lineman. Everyone on that lists either sucks, is just as old as the current DL (thus defeating the purpose of signing another DL in the 1st place), or is too expensive and too much of a big name player to draw interest from the Rooneys (Albert Haynesworth). At this point the Steelers HAVE TO ADD YOUTH THROUGH THE DRAFT
