Love it. Your art attracts the eye and you portray really well. The one that hit me was the Santonio painting. Something about it that seems different, but yet, captivating. I did a few drawings myself. Will put them on as soon as I get to them.

The boxing gloves & the jersey are very nice compositions! I noticed that you are using the grid system on the others-can you get away from using that? It just seems like such a restrictive kind of thing for an artist to use when copying.
Can you invest in an opaque projector? They are a wonderful thing, & free up soooo much time for you to get down to the shading & the details, what you really want to do & you might like it better than the grid.

I used the grid on them for a couple because they were projects for school that we were susposed to use a grid for. The polamalu I did that I haven't posted yet was not grid. Now I only use the grid on some stuff that I cant seem to do free. I will try to get the Polamalu up as soon as possible.

yep, sports portraits are hard to do because you have so much extra stuff to go along with it like equipment & logos which are a real time consuming PITA to get right freehand. The grid system looks like a PITA too.
Seriously, try an opaque projector! (Not an overhead projector, those use transparencies) You'll love the time you save on it, I promise!
