Springs owned TO last year.

Springs signs with the Pats.

THEN

TO signs with the Bills.

THEN

Torry Holt is rumored to be on the Jets' radar.

THEN

Bodden signs with the Pats.

And, of course, Brandon Pettigrew is rumored to be on the Bills' radar in the draft.

What's next? The Jets give up more than the Rams want for Holt?

Yep-Belichick may be a cheater, but there's no denying he's a very smart man. He's been keeping a step ahead of his AFCE's rivals.

Christ, Belichick is obssesed with his 2ndary. Im pretty surprised we didnt hear anything about Bryant Mcfadden speaking with the Patriots.

They were terrible last year. If anything, they need guys who can play physical at the LOS, not some JAGs who have to play 10 yards off.

Well-Chad Pennington ain't no long term solution, that's for sure! Maybe Parcells may shock everyone and trade for McNabb on draft day? Or for that matter, his backup Kevin Kolb? Who knows what Tuna has up his sleeves b/w now and then?

Nah, Parcells guy is Chad Henne........but he isnt gonna rush him into playing right away. Pennington will be the starter and Henne will compete for the starting job in 2010.

Tuna is gonna get himself some playmakers at CB, LB, WR in this draft. He might even be the guy that takes Pettigrew in the 1st round. He builds up front first (Jake Long, Philip Merling, Kendall Langford last year).......now he goes and gets skill guys.

I thought Bodden would be a good pickup, but wasnt sure about his locker room character.

Spys! The Pats are lying again?

Breaking down Bodden deal

According to a league source who has seen the contract, Leigh Bodden's one-year deal with the Patriots is not for the veteran minimum of $750,000, as has been reported by ESPN and NFL.com.

The source said the deal is one year for $2.25 million with $1 million guaranteed.

There are no incentives in the deal, a la Shawn Springs, but the deal does include a no-franchise clause, allowing Bodden to test the market again if he has a big season in New England and an extension can't be worked out with the Patriots after the 2009 season.
