Very interesting...looks like ND is gonna clean up in recruiting this year. I'm really impressed with Chris Welles who plays right down the highway from me, and is heading to OSU next year. 6'3" 230, fast, balanced RB, and has a nose for the endzone. Antonio Pittman will have some competition next year. Robert Rose from Cleveland has made a major impact in this game at DE and will also be a Buckeye.

Looks like there's some Western PA talent in the game, and PSU looks like they are gonna have a nice recruiting class too...

Penn State had a lot of recruits playing in this game. A.J. Wallace and Maurice Evans were the highest ranked. There were some others in that game that are headed to PSU like Chris Bell, and Jared Odrick. It's great to see Penn State on their way back to the top... they have had two great recruiting classes in a row.

well i guess snead won't be to bad, he had two tds a was 7 of 16. hopefully vince will stay one more year (so we can beat ohio state) and so snead can sit a year and learn the system cause if vince leaves i'm sure snead will be thrown out there cause we ain't got no one else worth a damn on our roster

Chris Wells won the MVP for the game, scored 3 TD's, and is ranked as the best RB in the Country. I can't WAIT to see this kid in the Scarlett and Gray next year. The scouting report on him? Maurice Clarret without all the baggage!

I can't wait to see Chris Wells just truck guys next year, especially Michigan.

I don't expect him to win the starting job unless something drastic happens, like Antonio Pittman getting injured. His carries will probally be in mop-up time at the begining of the season, but he'll get more and more as the season goes on.Pittman will probally declare for the NFL Draft after the 2006 season,so Chris Wells will definatly be the full-time starter next year.

Maybe we should send him the film Suit???... This kid is gonna be amazing!!! I've never seen anything like it, every touch he has in his high school film goes for a touchdown. He is gonna be a very special player. I hope it turns out better than Austin Scott going to Penn State.

There was one game against Akron Hoban (A Catholic prep perennial powerhouse) where they stacked all 11 guys in the box every play, and through a combination of better athletes on defense and the fact that he was playing hurt, they held him to something like 125 yards on 30 carries, and I think he only scored 1 TD.

I know he's gonna be a beast, but I think it's Antonio Pittman's job to lose right now. It's not like Pitt is a horrible RB..he had a damn good season last year.

It's a good situation to be in, and one I can't recall OSU being in in quite some time...
