Is their a site where it shows all 30 of our visits?

Thanks

excellent idea.

I think I read that last year we didn't sign any of the visit guys. Gives you an idea of what they're looking for though. So far a WR/CB with returner potential seems to be on the list.

Steelers take a look at UNLV fullback Frank Summers

By The Tribune-Review Friday, April 3, 2009
About the writer

The Steelers hosted UNLV fullback Frank Summers today on the South side. Summers, 5-foot-10, 230 pounds, is the seventh draft-eligible prospect brought in by the Steelers.

The first three of those, Pitt linebacker Scott McKillop, Pitt offensive lineman C.J. Davis and Penn State center A.Q. Shipley, are considered local players for the Steelers and do not count against the NFL's 30-visit limit.

The Steelers met with Arizona wide receiver Mike Thomas on Tuesday and with Oklahoma offensive tackle Phil Loadholt and Central Florida cornerback/return specialist Joe Burnett on Wednesday.

so so far what this list is telling me is we will draft O-line/D-Line early with a CB anywhere from round 1 to undrafted....and a WR in the mid rounds. I am thinking it all depends what CB's are available in round 1 to see what we will address.

a lot of people should be happy with that, however you never know with the pittsburgh steelers.

^^^^^^

I was gonna type almost the exact same thing. It's almost certainly going to be OL/DL/CB in rds 1-3, but the order is ???

My vote goes for this

1. DL or OL
2. OL or DL
3. C 1 n 2

The one guy that really stands out to me is Mohamed Massaquio. That shows me that they may be willing to spend a high pick on a WR, if the right one is there.

Not sure if this is where you guys want these, but making a new thread for a blurb dosen't seem right in this case.

Five more college prospects visit Steelers
Wednesday, April 15, 2009
Ed Bouchette, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
Five more college prospects are visiting the Steelers today: cornerback Alphonso Smith of Wake Forest, safety Louis Delmas of Western Michigan, defensive lineman Jarron Gilbert of San Jose State, wide reciever Jason Chery of Louisiana-Lafayette, and defensive end Brandon Long of Michigan State.

The only guys not already on "the list" are Brandon Long and Louis Delmas. Is this old news, or did they report visits before they actually came to the facility?

Does anyone else find it interesting that they brought in the top 2 CBs in the draft.didnt the texans leapfrog us to take the 6-7th best lineman off the board last year? or was it the falcons? sam baker?

i could also easilly see a team like cincy or the browns (assuming they get a load of picks in trades) leapfrogging us for a. mack. just like the jets knew d. revis was high on our list = leapfrog.

ive already predicted the patriots trading up with the cardinals to leapfrog us for a defensive player that has us all going :dang:

plus, eagles, titans, and giants are all in play to trade their late 1st rounder for b. edwards, a. boldin, or c, johnson.

its likely all the line help we covet may be gone and cb is the bpa.

i like the thinking.

for all we know the steelers could trade up to get jenkins, the steelers are notorious for making big moves come draft day...after all this is how they build the team

I am not sure Mo Mass is going to go that high. I am thinking 3rd round or later. Nice wide receiver. He really emerged as a senior. During his underclassman years he was prone to drop some big time balls (kinda like washington) but last year he really took it to the next level. It really help that he probally had more space to get open because i believe that the defenses shaded over to aj green. I doubt that mo mass would ever be a number 1 reciever but he could be a really nice number 3. Good kid that excelled in the classroom. I think he would be a nice pick up late in the draft - maybe 4th round or later
