I know it hasn't been announced yet, but what are the guesses for when the 2009 sche will come out? I am thinking on the 14th of this month.

It's usually a few days before the draft. I'm saying Sunday the 19th.

LOL..........do you think they've learned their lesson about giving us the hardest schedule in the league from last year? :chuckle: Its going to be either amusing or just plain interesting to see what kind of a schedule they give us this year.

Based on last year's finishing records, we have one of the easiest schedules in the league. But you never know how teams will change year to year.

I'm just hoping for good placement of our bye week.

Case in point: Miami.

You can pretty much figure "who" we play, just not when or where. Except for the opener which has already been announced vs. tenn @ home.

Baltimore Ravens X2 - 1home/1away
Cincinnati Bengals X2 1home/1away
Cleveland Browns X2 1home/1away

AFC West
Denver Broncos
Kansas City Chiefs
Oakland Raiders
San Diego Chargers

NFC North
Chicago Bears
Detroit Lions
Green Bay Packers
Minnesota Vikings

AFC Division - position of finish last year. We finished 1st so...
Tennessee Titans
Miami Dolphins

I hope we get the bye around the usual 5th week.

We know the "where" for all games also. Miami is away, Tennessee is home and the inter-division games are at the opposite location from the last time they were on our inter-division schedule. Oakland, San Diego, Green Bay and Minnesota are at home & Denver, Kansas City, Chicago and Detroit are away.

The only thing we don't know is the "when" for the last 15 games.

That's what happens when you have 20 24/7 sports channels to program. ESPN "The Ocho" probably has a half hour special planned to air the NFL press conference live when the NFL announces on what day the full schedule will be released.

The only game that matters to me is Week 1. That's all folks. Don't look ahead. I look forward to raising the banner and stomping a mudhole in the Titan's collective assses.

With Cutler being the new qb there its either gonna be late in the year or in prime time.
