he said he was almost brought to tears seeing carson injured in the locker room at halftime and that he considers him his best friend.

i guess theres no animosity from him taking his job and its obvious from carsons poise in the field that kitna did a great job mentoring him. it reminds me of the great attitude jerome has embraced willie parker with. i think it would be nice to see him get his own starting job but hes too good and classy to be a raven. he deserves any payraise he may get in the offseason

He has always seemed like a good team guy, this just further proves it. He played all of Carson's first year to win and didnt complain at all even though he knew no matter what he did he would not start the next year... Great team guy

Could possibly have a future as a quarterbacks coach after he retires...he's been great as a mentor to Carson.

I think that's one thing Brett Favre could learn from Jon Kitna.
