shutdown? not so sure about that just yet, but he could be a good fit in the dime packages.

was this guy invited to the combine? i don't see him listed anywhere.

Lewis seems to have the physical attributes but needs more work on technique. He does have good run stopping ability but you don't want your CB's stopping the run except on blitz's. I think he will be fine once he has learned how to play CB in the NFL.

Not a bad player I guess to have around. Steelers needed the depth and they have got it through this draft I believe.

Yes he was invited to the combine and he had a great combine and Senior Bowl week.

Keenan Lewis/CB/Oregon State: Lewis was fast on the turf of Lucas Oil Stadium, moving his 208 pound frame across the field in times which averaged 4.45 seconds. His practice session was terrific as Lewis looked fluid and natural in all the drills. http://vault.sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/article/web/COM1152543/index.htm

Thanks for posting the video. He seems like an instinctive player, who reads routes well. He also seems like a very physical corner, which I like. He'll need a little work, but I can see him becoming an eventual starter. He's certainly not ready to come in and make a big impact this year, though. Special teams for him.

I'm thinking dime package like BFad did before he was elevated up.

I'm sure he will help add depth but we do not need him to be a starter this year. Good pick for 2-3 years down the road.

I think we will see Taylor, Townsend, Gay, Ratliff, Lewis as the depth. Joe Burnett will fight it out with Madison for the special teams coverage/return spot.

Then in 2010 we will most likely see Taylor, Gay, Lewis (maybe Ratliff) and Burnett as the depth chart. I think Keenan Lewis will get the Will Gay treatment and barely see dime this year, but in 2010, he will be nickel and challenging for the start.

He looks like he could develope into a good corner. Hopefully he won't dissapoint us and will be starting soon.
