Ok.. So I am seeing vids here and there of our players, and thought it would be good to have ONE thread where all the vids are posted, as an introduction to the new guys.

So here is Mike Wallace on a kick return.

He runs THE LENGTH OF THE FIELD in 12 seconds... PLUS cutting back across half the field.

Fast Willie ain't so fast anymore!!

I'm impressed. He has good movement and doesn't lose speed cutting back. Now he has to do that against faster tougher competition in the NFL. We'll see.

Will heavy metal always play in the background when he touches the ball, cuz that would be awesome.

Here is an interview with Wallace. I really like the kids attitude. IT sounds like he REALLY listens to the coaches.

Imagine him with Ward and Santo in his ear for the next two years.

Seems to have a good head on his shoulders and it's good that he listens to his coaches.

Here's a collection of Ziggy's plays....

3 observations I want you all to watch for.

1. MOTOR. He doesn't quite.

2. He has the ability to fight through double teams at the college level..

3. FAST. If this kid makes it as a DE... he is a 3-4 DE that can CHASE DOWN QB's. That is impressive.

I like his hands a lot in that video. He looks like a real technician. I like that.

Wallace seems like he's modest, down-to-earth, which is a major plus. Arrogant rookies coming into the league with a sense of entitlement is NOT what makes the Steelers successful.

Geez Harrison has one bad snap and people are suddenly calling for him to lose his starting position as long snapper. :chuckle:

Harrison sucks as a long snapper! Why did we give him such a big contract anyways?

Kid is impressive. I watched another pre-draft interview where he talks about being a blue-collar player who is willing to be a FB.

Dang. If this kid can catch out of the backfield at the next level, I am ALL for it.

I didn't have a problem with a FB. I had a problem with another Dan Kreider FB that takes up a roster spot for one thing, blocking.

This kid seems to be able to block, catch, and run with the ball. Let's hope it translates... but if it does, WATCH OUT.

Christ, he looks more like a linesman than a running back.

One thing i picked up from this is he really seems to be able to use his blockers well . Looks like a problem could be solved with this pick as well .

I think he will be a keeper. He might not have the full power as the "Bus" did being 5' 9" and 240lbs, but I think his hands and speed will more than make up for that. No question the kid has big time power tho. I'm amazed that at 5'9" and 240lbs he can do this

*40...4.55
*Vertical Jump...34.5
*BJ....9' 5"
*Hoisted 225 lbs 30 times

He sounds a bit like Hines Ward when he speaks

Man I can't wait for the season to start!
