Possibly, but he's had difficulty in finding political appointments...I can't see why this would be any easier for him.

Souter was already a moonbat - they'll just look for a younger moonbat to replace him.
Obama is most likely looking to nominate a black, Marxist, female, lesbian, atheist to make all his supporters happy.

No conservative judge will retire in the next 3 years...they'll hang on by a thread of life if they have to until Obama's GOP replacement is elected in 2012.
