i honestly think whoever gets him is gonna have the best back in this years draft.

USC might be losing both its Thunder and its Lightning.

Running back LenDale White will declare for the NFL draft on Wednesday, a person close to White told ESPN's Joe Schad on Tuesday night. White was expected to make the annoucement during an interview on ESPNEWS.

White, a 6-foot-2, 235-pound junior, would be the third major offensive weapon to leave USC for the NFL this year, following the departure of quarterback Matt Leinart and the pending announcement from running back Reggie Bush that he'll also leave.

White finished the 2005 season with 1,302 yards on 197 carries, including 124 yards on 20 carries in the Trojans' 41-38 Rose Bowl loss to Texas. In his three-year career, White had 541 carries for 3,159 yards.

I would really like to see LenDale come to Pittsburgh. Hopefully we can get him.

He'd be a find for us for sure. He's attitude might be an issue that the Steelers will question but his performance on the field is spectactular.

I'm sure Bill Cowher can take care of his attitude.

HUH??? i ain't ever heard anything about an attitude with this guy. all i've heard is that he's a team player and a good guy.

anyway i doubt we even get a chance to look at him, he'll be gone long before we pick

Picking 32nd won't help our chances of getting him.Any chance we trade up to grab him?He fits our system perfectly.

White was born to be a Steeler, unfortunately I think we've already won too many games to have a shot at him without trading up.
