Odd...picking eliminated playoff teams over those still alive is definitely thinking outside the box

I especially enjoyed the rant about how the Patriots 10 game playoff run is 'overhyped'.

The logic being that is they had made the playoffs in 2002 they would have been soundly beaten by Oakland - gotta love them retrospective 'what-if' predictions.

A nice job of giving Willie McGinest a bit of love - just so no-one can accuse the author of being biased.

well out of afc teams they are the only ones left to give up 300 points and i think the only one with a negative turnover ratio. mcginnest does deserve a little recognition. to set playoff sack record with 4 and a half and to pass bruce smith (one of my favs) is pretty impressive.

how about going by how the teams stack up TODAY. obviously, the Patriots gave up most of those points in the first half when they were stinking up the joint. I kinda think they are a tad better than most of the teams ranked ahead of them.

I believe that power ranking system is based entirely on stats - there is no real leverage for the author to move one team above another just becasue he feels they are better.

Its an interesting attempt at a scientific power-ranking system - but it definitely needs some fine tuning.

this is crazy, this is PLAYOFF football, not Regular Season. Those regular season stats don't matter. This guy is (no offence), plain retarded. The Bengals lost, they're out, they do not go ahead of New England. The Redskins had 122 yards on offense last week, and barely won, Pats handled Jacksonville. They go ahead of Washington.

as even that big, stupid, idiotic, moron Madden says "the champ is the champ until someone takes it away" sometimes even big, fat, asinine, retarded, goofballs can cut through the crap and get it right.
