My dad is a lifelong Steelers fan and is in the hospital (again) for a bad flare up because of his COPD. He's been in for several days and he's not making any progress. So I'm asking for your prayers for him to get better and to finally stop smoking.

Thanks guys.

Thanks for all the support everyone. My dad eventually got out of the hospital. Unfortunately he's still smoking, and didn't bounce back like we were all hoping for. But we're just taking it one day at a time and trying to do all we can for him. Thank you everyone :)

Smoking is a terrible habit to kick - I know that all too well. Is he able to take Chantix? I've heard that medication works wonders in helping people to stop smoking - my insurance company doesn't cover it and it's very expensive so unfortunately, I haven't been able to give it a whirl.

I will continue to keep your Dad in my prayers, DS.
