After missing the Broncos' mandatory minicamp on Friday, Brandon Marshall's holdout may soon be over.

Marshall walked out of the meeting with several boxes of belongings and didn't speak with reporters.

Marshall's agent, Kennard McGuire, however, was not available for comment.

The Broncos, meanwhile, signed free-agent wide receiver Brandon Lloyd on Monday.

Lloyd is a seventh-year pro with 15 career touchdown catches who played for Chicago last season. He's also played for Washington and San Francisco.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.

Just imagine if Marshall joins Cutler in Chicago. Interesting scenario.

Yep, I can't blame Brandon Marshall at all for not wanting to be there. I understand it's a business, but some players just want to win (or at least compete). I can only imagine how he felt when they traded Cutler.

I have a hunch that Plax will end up there.

That could be a good scenario. I hadn't thought about that but a posibility.

No thanks...I don't want a Belichick reject. Try the Browns, they've already had Romeo Crennel and Eric Mangini, not to mention the man himself in Belichick...they could continue the trend.

I bet he wanted out the second they traded Cutler.

I don't know why people are so down on Orton. I think he could be a very good QB if given some weapons. Heck, he's a better decision maker than Cutler was.

In reality, you not only want him, you NEED him. Trust me...

Wait, are we talking about Chad "Ocho Cinco" Johnson now? I'm confused.

The funny thing is.

Mangini keeps looking better and better thanks to pretty much not making any real stupid trades and was able to smooth things over, unlike McDaniels

Rogers is still here, after he sort of ticked him off.

Edwards ended up sticking around, despite nonstop rumors

Quinn stayed around (and unfortunately Derek Anderson)

Cribbs is still here too.

Granted The Souljah was traded, but I think that was due to a mixture of things
1.) The Browns had very little picks to draft with.
2.) He's aging pretty fast
3.) He doesn't fit Mangini's system.

As it stands right now, out of all the Belichick disciples he's actually looked the best all things considered.

That all can change though if the team isn't competitive this September.

Also, I'd more than welcome McDaniel's as an O-Coordinator., just not as head coach.

Amazing how easy everyone overlooks what the Jets were doing before Favre's arm was injured (8-3, atop the division). That would have made 2 playoff appearances in 3 years.

That's alright, you stick with Marvin Lewis (I've had one winning season in my entire tenure...same as the failed Romeo Crennel). :P

Just crazy how the Broncos have lost (if Marshall is traded) two of there franchise players. They were what made watching the Broncos interesting last year. Craziness.

Trade to Baltimore? Ravens still need a WR to compete with us.

Why not trade him to Cleveland? They need a lot more then the Rats do. :sofunny:

No thanks.

I'd prefer to actually get a pass rusher or a new running back at the moment.

We're sort of good at WR at the moment.
