As of now Next Monday I am scheduled to have eye surgery. Some of the details of said surgery have made me feel not easy about having it (Note: I am one of those people who can't handle certain details about the medical field.). I'm hoping that this week I can do some soul searching that will help me gain enough courage to make the right decision. Might need to some extra time around my lector book. I might be able to find a few readings that can pick me up(Yes, I did become a lector at my church for those who might be interested).

Say a few prayers for me, they'll be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks Blast. So far I am doing somewhat better. I've been trying to find something that will help keep my mind off of the potential surgery.

Don't know what type of surgery you have planned, but I had cataract surgery not long ago. You would be surprised at what they can do these days. You have my good thoughts and prays bud.

Steelcity, I work in the field and have seen a lot of surgical procedures. I don't know what kind of surgery you are having, but the docs and OR nurses in the theatres are a special group of people. Very efficient, caring and professional.

They do cataracts with routine efficiency and the vitreoretinal docs are very precise technicians. As you put your faith in god, put your trust in the OR staff. Best wishes.

Update:

I have officially passed all pre-surgery related activities neccessary. So unless I mentally feel I can't handle it, then I will be on my way to surgery come Monday.

To my fellow Steelers Fever members.

On Monday as many of you know, I had my eye surgery on Monday. The procedure was done to correct any trouble that I had with my eye muscles. When the muscles ended up fixed, my doctor was hoping that my eyes would start looking straight forward and at the same time.

Today I write this post with GREAT happiness as I let you know that my surgery can so far be declared

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

I guess the only part I should've been annoyed by was the recovery part. That has gone very well since suffering some pain and itchiness after the surgery.

From the bottom of my heart I want to THANK EACH AND EVERYONE of you that kept me in your prayers. It may be another day or two till I return here for more regular posting, but as I was requested, I decided to keep you up to date since my eyes FINALLY can cooperate with me.

Thank you and God Bless(Or be well if you do not have a religious belief)
