Kind of a cool article talking about how well the NFL and the Steelers support our guys overseas. It really does seem like the NFL is always doing things to support them more than the other sports.

Very nice read- thank you! :applaudit:

It is not only heartwarming but so awesome that the NFL, coaches and players respect and admire our military so much and give of their time to visit our heroes overseas! :hatsoff:

Since the September 11th attacks in 2001, it has been commonplace for the NFL to honor soldiers before kick-off, have players put American flags on the back of their helmets, play soldiers greetings during game broadcasts, and send numerous league personnel to Iraq and Afghanistan to meet with the young men and women

The Pens honor members of our military at every game by giving several of those on leave free tickets and showing them on the jumbotron! Thank you to all of you who have served and our currently serving our great country - we love you! :usa: :salute:

I remember pulling all nighters when we didnt have missions to go watch the games early in the AM. Good stuff.... lots of steeler fans everywhere, including the Army.
