my family didn't come to this country until after ww2. they came over from new zealand, and originally settled in pittsburgh and the surrounding area. eventually they moved south to nc. i grew up in a steelers/deadskins house. deadskins because that was the team that was pretty much marketed down the throats of the south since the falcons, aints and bucs were all terrible. dolphins never really caught on. i never cared that much for the deadskins, so i was a steelers fan. i had a harris jersey when i was a kid, and other stuff that i won't bore you with. and then the panthers came into being. so, i'm active on several boards, especially the nfc south teams, but for the most part i'm a lurker and throw my 2 cents every so often. you'll probably never know i'm here, but that's the story of “what the hell is a panthers guy doing on our board??”
