Broncos cancel Thursday practice

By The Denver Post

The Broncos this morning cancelled the full-squad walk-through practice that had been scheduled for 4:20 this afternoon.

The veteran players reported this morning and participated in conditioning tests that involve interval running.

Team meetings will take up the bulk of the players' time today.

First-round draft picks Knowshon Moreno and Robert Ayers remain unsigned and are the only players who have not reported to the team's Dove Valley headquarters.

The Broncos' first full-squad practice of training camp is scheduled for 8:45 a.m. on Friday and will be open to the public.

Quarterbacks, rookies and injured players reported to Dove Valley on Monday and have worked out the past three days.

He may not even make it through this season with the way things have gone so far for him in Denver.

I wonder if we can go ahead and pencil in the Bronco's game as automatic win #3? (The Browns, naturally, being #1 and #2...get it? #2? Wokka wokka wokka!)

Seriously...what's the over under on the Broncos win total this year out of Vegas, it can't be more than 6.

McDaniels can easily become the worst coach in the league. Hated the guy from the beggining

Definitely

If it weren't for teams like the browns and raiders I'd say the donkeys can get the #1 pick next year

Why do Belichick Disciples fail so damn hard?

Hmmmm...that's a legitimate question. Crennel fell on his face. Fat boy destroyed a once proud Notre Dame program. The list goes on and on...

Well, there is, you know, ONE little thing missing...but I'll get denigrated again for being a conspiracy theorist if I bring up that "garbage" again, so I'll leave it be.

I wonder what the combined W/L record of all Belichick's protege combined is after leaving NE?

Notre Dame was already a joke before he got there. They're still a joke now.

Eh, ever since they fired Lou Holtz I'd say.

Notre Dame has a similiar problem that N'Western has, their academic standards are way too high so they have to devolop from only a handful of good atheletes to be good and they usuaully are able to make a run, every 2-3 at a BCS Bowl.

I might add, that I do think that FrontButts '05 Squad with Quinn could have been in the Nat'l title game if not for getting hosed over on a bad call. In an alternate Universe, both Notre Dame and Ohio State could have easily been playing for a Nat'l title.

On a related note to Belichick disciples, our 2nd go around with one is going "meh" so far. The guy is coming off as a disciplinarian during camp, making players run laps and having him and a few of his assistants yell at the players for screwing up. Even the star players aren't immune, I caught at the end of practice, that he made the QB's run suicides for messing up. He had a really rough start, but now he's more so coming off as a reincarnation of my HS Coach rather than a Belichick wannabe. I'm still not sold on him though.

The program was in a slide, but not anywhere near the mid-tier team they've now become.
