Only a few QB'S in the league could have made that play......Were just lucky that we have one!

If anyone has a picture of him tackling, please post. It was the most exciting play I have ever seen. This will go down in history as "The Immaculate Tackle".

Guys, I think we are fortunate that it was Harper running the ball back. I do believe that without a bad knee, well 2 bad knees for that matter, we may not been looking forward to Denver! Yes Ben did all that he could and thank god he went down! Like you said I honestly thought it was over when he picked up the ball, I did not see anyone in site. Congrats to the Steelers!

If Harper's wife hadn't stabbed him in the leg the night before the game, I don't know what would have happened. But I am glad it turned out the way it did!

Cowher said it " Ben is a great athlete, and he made the play"
Ben said " I just wanted to stay in front and slow him down for some else, then I grab on"
Would Ben make the same play in a regularseason game? Or was this a " Season is over if I don`t make the tackle"?

He is a great athlete. I think Ben just made a great play. He was lining it up all the way, ran him down, and made the play.
Immaculate Tackle. It has a nice ring to it.

It won't be named the 'Immaculate Tackle'. They already started printing t-shirts called 'The Tackle' and 'The Terrible Tackle', awaiting Ben's approval. There was a video about it on KDKA.

The Immaculate Takle! I love it. I smell a new hero and a new Hall of Fame quarterback in the making. :)

Just another great play by Ben... I thought the guy was gone, and we were gonna lose. I'm so glad he is athletic enough to make that play, but Jerome should have had two hands on the ball. Imagine if that would have been his last carry in Black & Gold... I'm sure he thanked Ben for making such a nice play you don't expect from quarterbacks.

Jerome did more than thank Ben. I'm sure Jerome is probably gonna hook Ben, (and his defense), up with some cash or something for them saving his ass. I will give him credit though. One lost fumble in 2 years. That's awesome. That one fumble just came at the worst time ever. LOL!

Although it isn't a pretty looking tackle, what matters is he made the stop

I thought this was going to like the Herm Edwards play when he picked up a fumble against
the Giants and ran it back at the end of the game. All that raced through my mind in a flash. Like you said "poof", there was Ben.

this was definitely ben going OH SHITE....season over if I don't get him....

how amazing is Ben coming into the NFL and looking like he's already been playing for 5 years....

That tackle will go down in Steelers history.. it was a once in a million fluke fumble and thank goodness Ben was on his toes and thinking. He was our last hope.

Did anyone notice on sportscenter, when they were comparing last year's playoffs to this year's for Ben? They put up all the stats and even had a "tackles" column lol. Last year he had none...this year he had 1. I just started laughing when I saw that.

yeah I did Joker, I heard as for tackles.. Ben was.. one for one... then the announcer laughed..
Not a laugh making fun of him, but because, face it,
a quarterback with ONE TACKLE is something else all by itself.

The IMMACULATE TACKLE... I like it.

and those wallpapers... oh boy!!! Those are great! I hadnt seen that page on here yet.
I guess I have to do some more surfing on Steelersfever.com I have been in the forums and reading the news. This site has so much to offer!
