Just wondering if anyone sees a possible addition in the trash heap.

I don't see it, but I'll bet some of our casualties get picked up in a hurry.

Unless it's a veteran we have played against, I don't see how they could know more about someone they have picked up than someone they have been coaching for the past 8 weeks.

Maybe an over priced OL will get cut and we can bring him in for a one year deal at a discount.

We need a tackle that has experience.

yeah, realistically I could see it only for an O lineman

jags tony pashos was released because he wouldnt take a paycut from his 4 mil salary. maybe he wants to sniff a ring for vet minimum (i think he would rather sniff an extra mil or 2 from another team though).

I think he would be a nice back-up. With the way Starks has played, he might even get a shot at LT...

We just signed Starks to a 4 yr., $26.3 million contract. No way they sign Pashos to replace him...

Who do we cut on the OL if we bring in a vet OL???

Tomlin said yesterday that he is concerned about depth on the O-line. If there is an experinced O-Lineman out there we might go after him. However we would have to either cut an existing lineman or someone else from another postion to fit them in.

So who would we cut?

Also who could we afford given our lack of cap space?

Guarantee Starks does not spend any games warming the bench like he did last year.

If we find a Tackle I say Hils gets the ax.

Sign him as a back up, but if Starks( who I think has played horrible in preseason) doesn't play any better, then Tomlin could have a guy that could replace him.

I doubt they sign anyone. They had a hard enough time getting to 53 to begin with. Some really good players got let go. How do you justify bringing in someone elses' trash who was not good enough to make the team and taking out someone who legitimately made a team that was tough to make?

Pashos was cut by the Jags for refusing to take a paycut from his $4M salary. He won't work for peanuts, I'd guess.

I noticed that as well. Consider that K. Lewis and Burnett are a bit green though.

I would say Kirshke, Ratliff, or Hills would be most likely to go via trade.

If anyone surely a veteran O Lineman hopefully a tackle, but the Steelers don't sign many free agents so I wouldn't get my hopes up.

I was hoping the Steelers could pickup Antonio Dixon from the Redskins, but the Eagles beat us to him.

Possibly a future NT for us.

Why? If he can't bowl over guys who he outweighs by about 100 lbs he has no business being in the NFL to begin with. Hell, Starks would look like the best OT in the league if all he had to do was knock DBs on their butts all day.

McIntosh is a guy that might work, but if the Chiefs cut him...there might be a red flag not to sign him.

Not like the Cheifs have the best O line in the world.
