Im so excited to watch the Browns once again have a terrible season and dwell on the bottom of the division.
I say Favre and the Vikes win this one 24-10

Talented QB, best rusher last season, and a front 4 defense that is beast. Goodbye Brownies.

Kickoff was a surprise short kick to catch the Browns off guard.

Browns lead 3 to 0

That drive was typical Cleveland. Vikes give them a short field and they still manage to stink.

The Browns offense is very mobile this season. Quinn always on the run purposely with screens and short tosses. Hmm sounds like another failure of a plan, there offense is in the shitter already.

I wish I could watch this game instead of the Bengals/Broncos.

And the Browns still can't stop the run...

Vikings tie it up.

But overall the Browns D looked like shit on that drive.

Touchdown Vikings. Their second consecutive posession where they drove on Cleveland's D.

10-3 Minnesota. The score doesn't indicate how awful Cleveland has been so far.

Cleveland may have scored a TD...pass interference on the defender may have forced BE out of bounds (Before he caught the ball). Stupid commercial.

Was a poorly thrown ball, regardless....otherwise it was a great catch by BE.

No TD...Pass Interference spotted at the 6 yard line.

Browns FG is good...Down 10-6

xfl2001fan

Wow...didn't think Dawson had that much leg on him. Browns own ToP and have 2 less yards rushing than the AP led Vikings.

Holy crap, two stuffs in a row...great defense by the Browns.

Browns don't look great, but we don't look terrible either. Defense is really showing something here.

CRIBBS BABY!!!!! That's what we needed to see!

Looked like crap at first, but the Brownies seems to have to have gotten it together. 10 unanswered points.

my local games are denver/shitcats or the tampa bay/cowgirls. 3 of my most despised teams.

this free day of sunday ticket may convince me to buy.

now that cribbs has returned a td, its just a matter a time before some fool bumps the "waaaahh we should trade for cribbs" thread. :shake01:

Browns go into the half with a 13-10 lead in a great defensive struggle.

Browns putting together a solid but not spectacular performance so far...which is a huge improvement over last season.

Vikes score to get a 17-13 lead...with the run game starting to gain some momentum by the Vikes...though it was the PI call on McDonald that got them within range.

The Vikings run the offense I wish the Steelers would run. A BALANCED offense is a thing of beauty.

About to be 24-13 Vikes.

So much for the Browns being competitive.

110 passing yards? Even when we were balanced we weren't that anemic. With over 200 yards on the ground the Vikings weren't balanced, they were obviously biased towards the run. And with 37 rushing attempts to 22 passing attempts, the unbalanced attack becomes even more apparent.

But you're obviously just a homer too blinded in his love with the run to see the truth here.

Browns actually showed Blitz a few times and got to Farve a few times. I'm very pleased, they looked night/day different on D. compared to last year (at least for the first three quarters)

Quinn...eh..I'm willing to give him a few more games to prove whether or not he's the guy, if not? It's Dan LeFevour time.

No offense Favre is 40 with the mobilty of a 80 year old in a wheelchair. He is actually gonna hurt that team more then he will help it.

Don't overreact...he's got better mobility than a lot of the QB's playing in the league...just not near as much as say...a Big Ben or a McNabb or Romo. Maybe a 60 year old. :flap:

Seriously though...there are very few QBs who would have escaped most of those sacks. It's nice to see an attacking defense for a change. Now, if only they could play all games the way they did the first half (defensively), we'd be golden.

[QUOTE=Killer;658974]Browns passed on Peterson for Joe Thomas - but OT's don't score TD's.[QUOTE]

That's idiotic. Plain and Simple.

AP, while great, would have struggled mightily with the Browns.

He came into a great situation with the Vikes, they had a great defense, and a great offensive line anchored by Bryant "Mount:" McKinnie and Steve Hutchinson. I bet money he wouldn't look near as good without them blocking for him. It's the fundamentals of football.

Want to know why Timmy Couch, Willy Green, Kelly Holcomb or any good amount of offensive players for the Browns have failed for the past 10 years? No protection. Want to know why DA all of a sudden had a fluke season in '07? Protection and a weak schedule.

AP single handedly bitch slapping 3 browns out of his way on that long run was one of the funniest football follies ive seen in a while. it gets better with every replay.

Sanchez is playing on a team that just barely missed tha playoffs.

The Browns are a team that went 4-12 and are about 2 years from even thinking that.

Trust me he would have looked like complete and utter crap.

Playmakers are overrated and can be found in the later rounds.
