20 to 0 Ratbirds before half. Well at this point I feel the top ranked college teams could embarrass the Brownies!

I'm not sure the Browns can win a game this year...

I guess Mangenious isn't so smart. He sucked as a head coach in New York, why did Cleveland think he would do any better?

Wow, the Browns are freaking horrible. Mangina sucks, watch him get fired before the end of the season.

I can't believe the Ravens allowed the Browns offense to score three points! :flap:

You know how sometimes someone else will do something so awkward or disgraceful, that you feel embarrassed even if it had nothing to do with you?

Absolutely disgusted with the performance...

Pulling Quinn after 6 pass attempts is ridiculously stupid...Not that I have ever believed that he'd be a good QB in the NFL (sorry Revs, he's your boy...not mine).

This new version of the Browns makes it very hard to turn on the TV on Sundays. They're still my team...but damn.

Not when he's throwing the ball right AT DB's instead of his receivers. Cleveland puts the D in dysfunctional.

Yeah, DA's stellar 11 of 19, 3 INT 30.9 passer rating performance was definitely SO much better than what Quinn could have mustered.

Mangina is going to destroy Quinn before he even gets started...DA was already a POS, and now the only QB on the team that actually has NFL-caliber tools is going to get flushed down the toilet by that idiot...

It's funny, you look at the offense Quinn ran at ND and it's a whole lot more professional looking than what's being ran in Cleveland.

Anyone wonder of the Redskins will see about getting Quinn? I don't think Quinn is a bad quarterback, but the team he is on is horrible. Edwards is a pass dropping dumbass, Josh Cribbs is nothing more than a punt/kick returner and a trick play option on offense.

Massaqoi could be good, but he's not on the field. They aren't liking Robiske as much because he's not "as athletic as Massaqoi" but Robiske has never been thought of as super athletic...he's a very solid route runner with very good hands.

The offense in Cleveland sucks. People here bitch about Arians but at least Arians throws the ball down the field and towards the endzone.

I don't know who's going to start for the Browns next week. Hell, it might be Brett Ratliff. But I don't know how Quinn can go out there with any confidence that he won't be pulled of he throws a pick or if he doesn't throw a TD.

There, I said it. Lerner needs to sell this team or hire somebody like a parcells to overlook things.

Tim Tebow. They need another highly-touted QB that was decent in college and is a bust in the NFL .

You guys will bounce back. (and quickly). I can see though that you guys are sorely missing Polamalu.

The Browns are truly pathetic though. Personally, I think it may start at the top. Lerner and his infatuation with Belichick has made this team a joke front office wise.

I don't understand the want to go back to something that failed in the past in Cleveland. Whereas the Browns refuse to go down and get someone like say, who follows Marty Schottenhiemr's model, which I think has been far more successful. Hell, you've guys have been using it since 1991? It's worked wonders for you guys. And the last time the Browns used it? 2 AFCCG Apperances and our best team since the 60's.

Also, I'm praying the Browns draft Eric Berry. Though I fear him too will be ruined by us.

I think Lerner needs to hire someone to come in and run the football operation. Much like Bill Parcells in Miami.

Hire him, make him the General Manager, and give him 100% control over the football operation. Lerner needs to step away and just sign the checks.

Keep hiring Ravens staff members as your GMs, it's working!

Seriously though, it was literally pathetic to watch the Browns yesterday as they are not only outmatched physically at every position on the field, but the players didn't really seem to care either.

Watching Willis run untouched into the endzone twice from 15-20+ yards deep was simply sad.

It felt like the Cleveland players knew that their season wasn't going anyway, and had already resigned by week three. . .

A lot of Browns fans are suggesting that Schottenheimer could fill the "Parcells" role. And I'd really support that move. Hell, I'd tap Cowher one last time and offer him whatever he'd like, but I'd doubt he'd touch the Browns with a ten foot pole.

My real dream is that Lerner sells the team to Dan Gilbert (or at least a huge share of it). But that's a real long shot of happening.

Would Gilbert be interested in buying the Browns?

O don't know if Schotty wants a "Parcells" type of role with a team.

I think he's too focused on the Casino prop. at the moment. Hence why I think it's a pipedream.

Listen up about Quinn. I still think he has the tools, but would you want to be in his shoes? He throws six passes and gets pulled? He wasn't named the starter until 2 days before the first game?

NO QB could play well, let alone thrive, in an atmosphere of retardation like that. If I was Quinn I'd demand an immediate trade and get the Hell away from that putrid organization...

Potential as what? A running back or a fullback?

I don't see Tebow as a successful NFL QB. Buy Wayne Weaver in Jacksonville loves him and will do whatever it takes to get him.

Good points.

He could thrive in a few places that have a lot of talent but no quarterback.

I wonder who's going to be the head coach of the Browns next season, because something tells me that it won't be Eric Mangini.

i like Quinn's attitude about things, he's a hard worker and wants to be a leader. The thing is, Mangini doesn't seem to want any leaders on the team other than him, thus that and the fact that John St. Clair maybe the worst starting RT in the history of the NFL may have a lot to do with it.

And, frankly, I have no idea who'd want to take over this mess. Good luck to them, because it's going to take at least 3 years at the bare minimum assuming every thing goes right to make this team into a winner.

Lerner really needs to sell the team if he knew what was good for the organization, because frankly, it's a had a rep. as being the most dysfunctional in the league since '99.

I think it would take Lerner selling it to fix it too. I mean, he can't choose a competent GM, and his dad couldn't either. I know the Lerners have meant well, but they just aren't good at it.

My one friend thinks I should write a letter to the Browns and convince them to hire me to right the ship. Once I got the Browns to mediocre, I would be the hottest gm on the market! He seriously thinks I could do it, a few people do...they call me the Football Encyclopedia.
