I was just curious on how many people who are season ticket holders sent there Super Bowl Option sheet in. And if we win which I am hoping will happen. Could anyone explain to me how this process works and how do you find out if you will get them or not. Does anybody know stuff like how many tickets are allowed to Steelers Fans and things like that. Any information would be much appreciated.

I have Steeler season tickets and I sent my sheet in for this season. Last I season I got a notice in the mail. As for how many you can purchase, I'm not sure. I sent in for two, the amount of seats I have inside Heinz. Good luck.

Did you ever get notified last year if you got them doing the week of the Championship game by chance.

Yes. If I recall correctly (trying to blank this point in my life out) I was actually notified that I was going to the Super Bowl before the AFC Championship game last season.

Another Superbowl Question: How is it decided who wears Home and who wears Away jerseys?

The AFC(AFL) and NFC(NFL) champs have been rotating being the host team since Super Bowl I. Since the NFL was the host team in this first bowl, the NFC hosts in odd numbered Super Bowls and the AFC is the host team in the even numbered Super Bowls. Thus, the Steelers or Broncos will be the home team this year in Detroit.

If you are talking regular season tickets, they depend. I have 3 in Sec 522, and 1 in Sec 514. They are $550/seat. Plus S&H.

I won a chance to last years lottery and was notified before the AFCCG. This year winning notices and tickets will be sent out on the 23rd. They were filled with the amount of seats you have at Heinz.

how early in advance do you have to apply or whatever to get the tickets for say next season or the season after that and how hard are they to get(regular season tickets)?

I'm not sure how early in advance. My grandpap got his tickets back in the mid-60's and they have been handed down through generations. As for the season ticket waiting list. I have heard anywhere from 10-15 years.
