According to NFL.com he may be available for trade. I think he would make a good replacement for bigsnack. What you think?

If he is available for a trade it would be because he hasn't lived up to expectations and may have a bad work ethic.

I remember hearing about how Dorsey was going to be the greatest DL who EVER played the game.

Now he's on the trade block?

OK...Steely McBeam and Limas Sweed for Dorsey straight up.

For a team that is desparate for players, Dorsey must really stink.

I thought that guy was a little smaller anyway, like a 4-3 tackle or a 3-4 end.

KC has him playing NT he is a little light for that im guessing DE type myself, but i mentioned this in another thread, but i think we will be fine harris is back that gives another body to rotate in and out

Nah, Dorsey is a 3-technique DT instead of a NT.

I think Carolina or Detroit should make a play for him as they could use some interior linemen.

Too much for us i think, and too high risk. He's still very young, but hasn't really showed much with the Chiefs

I watched Dorsey play at LSU - he's a pass rusher - he played a 4-3 rush end there, and he's not really built big enough for a 3-4 NT.

KC tried fitting him in the 3-4 defense they play and he's not making it...

Plus he signed a five-year, $51 million contract with $23 million guaranteed in 2008

Dorsey was a beast at LSU!

as a 4-3 DT that is. That's what he should be playing. The chiefs would be doing him, and themselves, a favor by trading him

Yeah but remember Edwards wasn't living up to expectations in brown town and someone still traded for him. Maybe it's not so much the player as it is the organization.

I'm just saying!

To expensive for us and he wouldn't fit as a NT any way. He could be a replacement for Kiesel in a year or two but like I said, to expensive. I'm afraid this latest injury may end Aaron Smith's career. If that happens we need Ziggy to catch fire fast.
