I know some Baltimore fans are taking this news badly, but I wish Matt all the best (other than on November 22). He is a class act and can still kick FG's and PAT's. I was sorry to see him go, but I realize why the Ravens opted to go with Haushcka as the sole kicker. I think he will do well for Indy.

Stovie is going to get as loud of an ovation as Ray.

Especially considering many of the games that he has won for the ravens.

No Stover = No SB trophy in 2000. FIVE games without a TD!!!!!!!!

I remember quite a few Steelers games that ended by the means of his foot. I hated him out of respect.

It pains me to see him on the Colts, but I wish him the best. He was the glue that held this team together from the day it arrived in Baltimore. Being the only guy on the offense to score for like 5 games in a row is insane.

Thanks Matt. Good luck in Indy.

Me too. He's had a great career and I'm happy for him that he landed a job. I think that dude is the clone of George Blanda and will be putting pigskins through the uprights well into his 50's. :chuckle:

Stover was a good pick for the colts and, I'm sure he will do well. From 45 yards in he is usually money. Like many of steeler fans I often said does this guy ever miss?

They could have used him today. Missed FG against Minnesota as time ran out.

Nah, Stover is only good within 40 right now, and he is as unreliable as our young guy right now from 41+.

Kind of ironic that the Vikings cut your kicker who now missed that one today.
That must have been gut wrenching, but I enjoyed it I must say.

It's just disappointing that we've lost three consecutive games that were in the bag and only needed routine plays to be made.
