Looks like Mendy will start, and they will do an RB rotation if necessary according to the PG. I'm happy with this if it comes true.....thoughts?!

I think their going to take it easy with willie. Turf toe doesn't magically go away in two weeks.

If Mendenhall hits the holes the way he did at times against San Diego he could get 150 yards. The Browns Defense isnt the problem with that team. Its the offense and the Head Coach.

Sounds good to me. We will need to run to kill time. The less we leave their dangerous QB on the field the better. Watch now that I mocked him he'll throw for 400 yards. I just don't see him having any success now that Troy is back.

I think it is a good thing going with Mendenhall. He is only getting better with each touch and game he plays. I hope he has another good outing against the Browns. A 150 yards and three touchdowns wouldn't hurt my feelings any.

excellent news, lets hope we get get him enough snaps to get over 100 yards

dont forget the owner and the fans and the city in general

I'm A-OK with that plan. However, when FWP's toe has completely healed, I really want to see both backs utilized in that backfield. Both of them have their strong suits and I'd like to see that two-headed monster eat up the field (and the clock). :tt02:

The future is upon US!!! Mendenhall at tailback, Ziggy Hood filling in for Aaron Smith and Mike Wallace the heir apparent to Hines Ward.

LET FUTURE IS BRIGHT MY FRIENDS!!!!!!!!

Sorry mesa. I've not been around here much this past week and I didn't connect the dots.

I'm going to merge this thread with the other previously started on this topic.

EDIT: I'm going to leave this one alone, but in the future folks - when posting a new thread, first check to make sure that what you are posting is not a duplicate of a thread previously started and also that the topic of the thread you are posting is not contained in another thread so that we don't have multiple threads with different sources on the same topic. Thanks. :drink:

I think we'll see a lot of Mendy tomorrow considering the Browns have the 10th best pass defense thus far in the league

The Browns are last in the league in run defense, giving up 170.4 yards/game.

We better run the ball.

Glad to hear Mendy is feeling better and is going to start. I think he'll rack up a lot of yardage in this game. I also hope Ben throws for at least 2 TDs (hoping for 4 to 6 though, haha). Any chance he gets to increase his stats the better, so that his critics will finally shut the hell up.

Hey, anything that keeps Parker on the bench for another week is good news to me!

I do hope he and Mendenhall talk on the sideline a lot; that way maybe Parker can be the one with the flu next week and we'll be guaranteed of having a real RB against the Vikings.

they have the 10th best pass defense because no one bothers to pass on them when they can run all day instead

Let's hope so. I'd like to see Willie get 10 or so carries also, provided that his toe is capable.

12-13 touches for willie, 17-18 for mendenhall, 10 for moore, and 30 pass attempts from ben.

that would be nice balance.

That would be OK with me, as long as all of Willie's "touches" were of the :jerkit: variety. And hopefully not on camera.

If the game starts to get away from the Browns I would expect Mendenhall and Parker both to sit and Moore to finish the game. Mendenhall should get about 20 touches and see what happens from there

I hope in those 20 touches he adds about 2 touchdowns to boot.:chuckle:
