The Patriots have promoted 29 year old Josh McDaniels to become the offensive coordinator. This makes him the youngest coordinator in the league.

If you look around the league, the new trend is to hire youth, and it's a copycat league. If the Steelers win the Super Bowl, you'll see the rest of the league switch over to the 3-4 and everyone will try to run the ball 55-60% of the time.
