I know our passing attack has become more lethal, but there will be times in this game where our running game will be needed to at least take some of the pressure off Ben, even knowing the Vikings do not possess a great pass defense. I believe this, along with the screen game, will help to slow down Jared Allen. I'm pretty sure he's been a key of emphasis in practice this week.

Running the ball effectively will also give our line confidence against that Viking front 7 and open up the play action for Ben and our wideouts.

I don't see us sustaining the running game very much, and I think the playcalling will heavily favor the pass, especially with Winfield hurt.

I voted under 75 yards, but think the backs will have significant role in pass blocking and breaking off for dump-offs.

Pass blocking and those dump offs definitely. That screen game will be huge as well.

I think we will rush for less than 75 yds.

I think about 75-100 yards will be enough to keep some pressure off of Ben.

I voted under 75 as well.

55 for Rushard (a TD or 2 included) 20 for WP.

I agree, the screen passes will be very important, Moore will have to be good in that role.

I get the feeling Moore will play a bigger role in a win than Parker.

Over 125. Mendenhall busts off an 80 yarder for a TD this week.

I agree, he will help a lot more than Parker, he's really reliable :drink:

I think the run game will gain more because of the defense playing the pass more because of what the Steelers Offense has done over the past few weeks. Vikings Secondary will not be able to cover 1 on 1 as much so the double coverage for the passing game opens up the run a lot more.

I could see this being a big passing game for Ben and the offense. Antoine Winfield will be out and their secondary is very weak IMO. If we come out and attack through the air then I will say our ground game will be 75 yards or under. If we come out more balanced then I say 100-125 total rushing yards with Ben even picking up some yardage.

If we don't run for 75-100 yards we'll lose this game.

I say between 100-125. Most of it will come late as the Steelers win it with the passing game but Mendy seals it late with a few huge runs for first downs to kill the clock.

75-100

I think the passing game will open up the running game-----yes, the reverse of what's usual (the defensive backs/LBs will back off in order to keep from giving up "the Big One" and that will open up the running game)

Also, I gotta feeling that this is Logan's week to take one to Da House!

Edit:
actually, I may change to 100-125
